MEET THE PETS

Ivy is a vivacious dog, part Labrador Retriever and part Chow, She's new to the Shandon neighborhood after being recently adopted by her Lady-Guardian Lea-Elise.  She her friends set out to solve the theft of Miss Darla's pink diamond ring named Sugarplum.

 

Ernest is a witty, smart pug, whose family lived with English royalty. He is Ivy's next-door neighbor. He lives with his Sir-Guardian, Dr. Gee, a famous mystery writer.


 

 




Marigold is a canary whose cage in the window of her Shandon home gives her a great view of the world around her.  A retired teacher named Miss Alice is her Lady-Guardian.



Spooky is a streetwise, homeless black cat,  able to move around Capital City day and night. 




Hoover is a puppy and a rambunctious, hyper Jack Russell Terrier.  His Family- Guardians are Mr. and Mrs. Clark and their children Trip and Liza.

 



 
Blitz is a  German

  Shepherd with the

  Capital  City Canine Unit

  who   develops a crush

  on Ivy.  He lives at the

  Shandon police

  headquarters and works

  with Detective Dave.

 



Lovely
is an aging greyhound and a former star on the Florida greyhound racing circuit.  She was injured in an accident and abandoned.  She was adopted by the Clark family.

 

MEET THE PEOPLE
 

  Lea-Elise:  Ivy’s Lady-Guardian, Lea-Elise works
  at
the university in Capital City and has a sense of

  fashion, fun and adventure.

  

  Detective Dave: A detective and crime solver
  for
the Capital City Police Department, Detective Dave

  meets Ivy and her pet and people friends when Miss

  Darla's Sugarplum is stolen.  He works with Blitz.

 
Dr. Gee: 
Dr. Gee is a busy university professor
  who writes mystery novels.  He is Ernest’s Sir-
  Guardian and next-door neighbor of Lea-Elise and Ivy.

Miss Alice:  A retired school teacher, Miss Alice is the Lady-Guardian to Marigold.

 

Trip and Liza: The children, who often get into mischief, are the Family Guardians for Hoover and Lovely. Their parents are Robert and Elizabeth Clark.

 

Miss Darla:  Miss Darla is a very rich woman and the owner of Sugarplum, a magnificent pink diamond.  The theft of Sugarplum sets off "The Mystery of the Screecher Creature."  Miss Darla gives much of her money away to benefit schools and children.
